"School's Out for Yhivi"
School's Out for Yhivi is a May 19th release from HoloGirlsVR featuring Yhivi (E-V) in one of the better solo vids HoloGirlsVR have released thus far in this reviewers opinion. The setting for this 14:25 minute movie is a video chat with Yhivi on the floor and that seems kind of a natural setup for VR as a prop for the ladies to interact with. She is bummed she won't be able to see you for a couple months, and wants to do something a bit special for you.
Yhivi is super chill and very relaxed with the camera and speaks her lines easily as she talks selling the scene very well. The room is decently lit, with a bit of glare coming in from the sunlight outside, which on one hand looks cool, as you can make out details like fine hairs on Yhivi's body later on, but on the other hand, it is a bit glaring in the HMD. In 2d, it is a beautiful shot with the sun. But Yhivi soon makes sure you are only looking at her as she starts to show off her tight little body.
A Bit on Eye Contact
You get some really nice close ups in the beginning and end of this scene that are only marred by the typical lack of centered eye contact in HoloGirlsVR videos where the girls are almost always looking right or left and never dead center, which really, really harms the immersion and I would rate HoloGirlsVR as perhaps the very worst in this department of the current studios shooting VR, as continual repeat offenders here. This is not the fault of talent.
HoloGirlsVR really need to work this out as the other studios have, to take full advantage of otherwise great performances such as this one from Yhivi or Mistress T in Turning My Step-Son Straight, to name just the last couple of scenes we have viewed where this has been a detriment to otherwise really good scenes.
You be the judge, those above are very typical shots from both studios
Other studios, such as Naughty America VR, have DEAD ON CENTER eye contact, that is penetrating and engaging, where this detail is lacking in every HoloGirlsVR release, where the girls obviously do not know where to focus on the rig when looking at it, and it is really bad when they come in close. It cannot be that difficult to place a dot, an X, something, to guide the talent where to look, and I don't know why HoloGirlsVR are not actively trying to solve this problem that is readily evident in many of their movies.
Otherwise, an Awesome Solo from Yhivi
Other than that critique, the next 15 minutes is solid solo content, and Yhivi looks really amazing fingering herself in front of you in several positions. No further commentary needed there. Towards the end, Yhivi coaches you to cum at the same time with her, and then does a little simulated cleanup for you.
A Solid Scene From HoloGirlsVR
All in all, sexy little vid, Yhivi is tight n right and very convincing and the scene achieves a decent amount of intimacy for a VR Porn movie. I found myself really attracted to her by the end and ready to go watch her get her fuck on in part 2, which I have had on the drive and had not had a chance to watch yet. There are some performers who are more at ease in front of a camera in the way that VR demands, and I would place Yhivi in the relaxed and natural category, which goes a long way with immersion for me.
Negatives for this otherwise fantastic solo are the lack of centered eye contact that really holds it back from the intimacy it could otherwise achieve. When I watched Katrina Jade for instance the other night in Naughty America's Call Katrina, I felt like she was looking right into me, and it was really powerful. I would like to see HoloGirlsVR step it up here, as they are missing some great performances right now. In the Chanel Preston movie from a month ago, Chanel spent the entire video staring about 25 degree's off of center, and it winds up being very distracting, like, who are you looking at? The sun glaring into the window is also a minor distraction in this one at the beginning but nothing to serious.
Would recommend for all solo fans, fans of Yhivi, and those looking for a bit more intimacy, much of which is provided by Yhivi herself, rather than proximity to the camera. 9/10 for a great performance but off center eye contact, which is again, not Yhivi's fault in the slightest.
